About us
The Hanns Seidel Foundation's conference centre has been located in the heart of the state capital since 2001. More than 300 seminars, conferences and expert discussions on politically and socially relevant topics are organised in the modern building complex every year, and the foundation's central departments also work here.
The Munich Conference Centre is a lively meeting place. It offers a platform for discussions between business representatives, politicians, media professionals and academics in a professional atmosphere, also for external organisers.

About us
Hanns Seidel Foundation e. V.
The Hanns Seidel Foundation was founded in 1967 and is named after the former CSU chairman and Bavarian Minister-President Dr. Hanns Seidel. The foundation carries out educational, social and development policy work in Germany and abroad. In addition to the conference center in Munich, the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung e.V. has another conference venue – the Banz Monastary Education Center in Bad Staffelstein.

The foundation's assets originate from the legacy of Ingeborg Tausend and Wilhelmine Tausend. SIWT is the owner of the Munich Conference Center. Like the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung e.V., SIWT also pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes.
