The Munich Conference Center makes every effort to make the website accessible. The legal basis for this are the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) as amended.

In accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102, the website is largely compatible with the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

• Room planner
  The modular room planner cannot be fully operated using the keyboard.
• Inconsistent sequence for keyboard operation
  The order in which links and objects are accessed using the tab key is not always clear and logical.
• Explanation of foreign words or uncommon words
  There are no mechanisms for explaining foreign words such as Anglicisms or uncommon words.
• PDF documents
  Individual PDF documents on the website (in the Projects & Achievements section) are not barrier-free. As a matter of principle, we try to provide information, preferably as HTML pages. Please contact us if you require access to such a document.
• Links
  Graphical and textual links may not always clearly describe the link target to which they refer.
  For several web pages, there is only one way to access them within the website
• Contrast
  The contrast ratios of some texts and non-text content are not sufficient. Users with visual impairments cannot see the content or can only see it to a limited extent. Associated functions may not be operable.
  After a user-specific color adjustment via the browser settings (in the Firefox browser), the logo and the mobile menu can no longer be sufficiently perceived
• Responsive
  Several contents cannot be fully perceived after adjusting the browser width to 1280 pixels and 400 percent page zoom.
  At high magnification, particularly long headings and words may not wrap.
• Specific content on accessibility
  The content is not provided in sign language.
  The texts do not have any additional explanatory content in simple language to aid understanding.
  The accessibility functions are not described and documented as part of the product documentation, e.g. the accessibility declaration.
